Key Details
Timeline
The annual timeline for the Ontario Internship Program is typically as follows:
- Internships begin in August;
- Applications are due the previous Winter.
The process involves written tests typically in February and interview typically in Spring.
Graduate Eligibiity
To be eligible for the OIP you will have graduated or will complete the requirements to graduate in the 24 or so months before the start of the internship, from one of the following:
- A degree;
- A diploma;
- A post-graduate certificate.

Additional Eligibility
You must also meet the following requirements.
- You are legally entitled to work in Canada
- You must be living in the province of Ontario during the term of employment.
- You are not currently an OIP intern and have not been an OIP intern in the past.
