About

About Our Team

For more than twenty years, the Social Sciences Careers & Experiential Education team has supported undergraduate students, staff, and instructors with a range of career development and experiential learning programming. Resources for Careers & Experiential Education programming are uniquely funded in part by a faculty-budgeted operating allocation, and in part by an annual compulsory fee paid by all full-time students in social sciences program. The team’s activities are therefore governed by an Experiential Education Governing Council (EEGC) through a partnership between the Social Sciences Dean’s Office and the McMaster Social Sciences Students (MSSS), the faculty’s partner organization for students. The staff members, in their roles as McMaster employees, report to the Office of the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies, and work in the main office for that unit alongside academic advisors, teaching and learning, support, and recruitment staff.
