Do you have an idea for meaningful positive change in society? Check out McMaster’s Digital Society Lab Social Impact Hackathon!

Date: January 25 – 31 (Check the website for full itinerary)
Location: Hybrid (Do it from campus and/or from home)

No experience necessary! This is designed to be beginner-friendly and is a code-optional event. Judging will not be focused on technical skills, but rather on your project’s creativity, impact, scalability, and presentation.

Participants are encouraged to think creatively about the various ways we can create meaningful change within society. If you’re interested in social innovation, entrepreneurship, engineering, design, or technology, we encourage you to apply!

This hackathon is open to all McMaster students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, and alumni regardless of experience or background.
