Ontario Legislature Internship Programme (OLIP)
About the Programme:
McMaster Social Sciences students have a long history of success in the Ontario Legislative Internship Program, and over time McMaster faculty members have often provided guidance and leadership to the program itself.
From the programme website: “Each year, ten interns are selected from across Canada through a highly competitive process. The internship takes place in Toronto, Ontario beginning in September and concluding in June. The Programme is open to Canadian citizens and those who are eligible to work in Canada who hold at least one university degree. OLIP is an equal opportunity programme.”
“The Programme is designed to provide backbench Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs) with highly qualified members of their team.“
