A degree in Environment & Society provides a graduate with critical skills for understanding environmental change, globalization, urbanization, transportation and health and social inequalities and exploration on how to solve the human challenges related to these thematic areas. 

Environment & Society is an interdisciplinary program which means that students will gain insights and skills from Human Geography, Environmental Studies, Geographic Information Science (GIS), and Urban Studies – the knowledge and skills essential to an expanding range of careers in environment management, sustainability, urban planning and GIS.
