Student Work Program Jobs Now Posted for Fall 2026

The Faculty of Social Sciences and related units have created job postings for several roles to be hired through McMaster’s Student Work Program for Fall and Winter 2026/2027. Students can apply for Student Work Program positions after confirming their eligibility for the roles and the program.

Social Sciences Roles in the Student Work Program

Many Work Study roles are posted broadly across the Faculty of Social Sciences, including with the Careers & Experiential Education (C&EE) team. Some of the roles include:

• Communications Assistant 2A, Careers & EE – 77251
  • In this role the incumbent will assist with the communications and media outreach efforts of the Social Sciences Careers & Experiential Education team, in order to promote the Faculty’s career development, co-op, and experiential programming. Communications projects will also include in-person and virtual start-of-class announcements and information sessions.

Eligible students can apply to any Work Study roles. Some other roles outside of the Faculty that may be of particular interest to Social Sciences students include:

Once you have confirmed your eligibility, you can find and apply to any of the positions listed above, or other jobs of interest, in the Current Opportunities section of Mosaic, under the Student Work Program tab.
