McMaster Work Program Roles are Coming Soon — Here’s How to Confirm Your Eligibility

Paid student employment roles for the fall and winter terms will soon be posted. Are you ready?

The McMaster Work Program provides students with demonstrated financial need the opportunity to work in on-campus jobs, offering up to 10 hours per week during the fall and winter terms and up to 35 to 40 hours per week during the summer. More than 1,250 positions are available across over 100 McMaster departments and offices, with roles ranging from administrative and customer service work to athletics and research support. Eligible students must apply through AwardSpring each term, demonstrate financial need, and receive approval before applying for work program jobs posted in Mosaic.

The program is open to full-time undergraduate students and eligible graduate students, with specific eligibility rules for international students and summer employment. Approval for the program does not guarantee employment; students must apply competitively for positions, and employers pay at least Ontario’s minimum wage.
