Learn more about the Government of Canada’s Advanced Policy Analyst Program (APAP), one of the Government of Canada’s top recruitment and leadership development programs. Each year, 12 high-potential individuals are selected to rotate through two years of challenging six-month placements at each of the following:
- the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat
- the Department of Finance Canada
- the Privy Council Office
- a sponsoring Government of Canada department
McMaster Economics alum Saaqib Ahmad is a past participant in the program, and is Manager of Budget Coordination at Fisheries and Oceans Canada. In this information session he will share information on the program and how interested student can apply.
This virtual session, hosted on Zoom, is designed to inform current and prospective graduate students (M.A., Ph.D) about post-graduation opportunities in the federal government.
Undergraduate students considering graduate options, or considering a career in the federal public service, are also welcome to register for the information session.
